Started in January 2004 by European based Trinidadians.     Pan International offer a new and unique concept in the world     of Steel Pan Retail.     'Bringing the Steel pan Home' Pan     International specialise in the global shipping of hand crafted Steel     pans and all pan related accessories.

In 1946, Winston 'Spree' Simon developed a 14 note steel pan     that caused a sensation when he played it during the first     Carnival held in Trinidad after the celebration was banned at     the beginning of World War II.

The instrument was quickly copied by     other musicians, and Trinidad’s rhythm     drum bands soon evolved into music     bands.
